Welcome to our 2012 'End of the World Edition'!
Hey..what if the Mayans are right? Do you really want to not wake up on December 22nd and say, "Damn!! I missed the CGF last year!"? I don't expect anything too catastrophic myself, however, we do live in interesting times.
Join us in our unique time-space continuum this summer, and we'll see ya at the lake.
Btw... we are doing lobster dinner this year... this is a 1st for us. Who among us can anticipate the combination of guitars and melted butter?

POSTER CONTEST! Back by popular demand - the Canadian Guitar Festival Poster Contest - win a WEEK IN PANAMA and a FREE WEEKEND CAMPING PASS and BACKSTAGE TICKETS.
The word of this year's amazing Festival lineup is spreading...but we can spread it further!
If you are willing and keen to hang a poster in that groovy coffee shop and music store down the street *AND* have a Staples store nearby, here is what to do:
send us an email (POSTERS will automatically be the subject) with your name and quantity of posters that you can handle.
We will send your order to the Staples location nearest you. You just pick them up and hang them. The posters are a buck each - keep your receipt because it is good dollar for dollar at the merch tent! Take some digital stills of these colorful keepsakes on a few store windows in your town. The coolest photo of the coolest storefront window featuring our poster will win that retailer a pair of camping passes for 2012 to do with as they please...*AND* when you arrive at the festival, you will receive your back stage pass, and a complimentary shirt.
Oh yeah...almost forgot...the individual who hangs the most posters and sends us the most pics...wins a pass for the Don Ross + special guest guitar week at our lovely beach house in Panama [see the link for details] on the Pacific Ocean. The dates are not firm at the moment but keep your eye on February 2013!
UPDATE: Last year's winner of the week in Panama was Steve Veinot of Cobourg. Steve couldn't schedule the trip to claim his prize so we're comping him and his family with camping passes for 2012.
